Notes on the official list

  • The Department of State's candidate pages are live tables (current as of October 27, 2026) that mark each candidate 'On Election Ballot' and give a ballot position. They do not say the list is certified or final. We listed candidates in ballot-position order.
  • The candidate pages print full names in capital letters with no periods after initials. We changed only the capitalization, so names read like 'Raymond T McKay' and 'C D Reynolds'. The printed ballot may use a shorter form of some names, such as a nickname. We could not check a sample ballot because the state's sample ballot lookup needs a voter's address.
  • District 1: the list prints 'PEDRO JUNIOR SOARES DE SOUZA'. We wrote the surname as 'De Souza', but we could not confirm its exact capitalization.
  • Governor Daniel J. McKee lost the September 9 Democratic primary, according to the Board of Elections' official primary results, and is not on the general election ballot, so no incumbent governor is running.
