On the ballot
Why this matters: Every voter in Pennsylvania votes in the statewide races. For the U.S. House, you vote only in the district where you live.
18 races for Congress and governor on Pennsylvania's November 3, 2026 ballot, from the state's official list of candidates.1 Your ballot will also have state and local races that this guide doesn't cover yet. To compare a race's candidates side by side, open the race, or see Pennsylvania's 2026 election page.

Notes on the official list
- The Department of State's candidate database marks each candidate Approved or Withdrawn but does not say the general-election list is certified or final, so certified is false. Under the state's 2026 calendar the withdrawal and substitution deadlines had passed by September 21.
- Names follow the printed county sample ballots where we have them, and each name taken from a ballot cites that ballot; otherwise names are the legal names in the Department of State's candidate database, turned into natural order. The ballots print familiar forms: the 16th District's Republican nominee, George Joseph Kelly Jr. in the database, is printed as Mike Kelly. Some counties print names in capital letters, which we write in normal capitalization, and a name can differ slightly between counties: Pike County prints "Rob Bresnahan, Jr." and Luzerne County "Rob Bresnahan Jr", the form used here.
- The Green Party ticket for governor (Anthony James Dastra and Craig Joseph Bolton) and the Green Party candidate in the 7th District (Andrew Tupone) are marked Withdrawn, with the reason given as removed from the ballot, so they are not included.
- No Republican is listed for the 3rd District. The only candidates there are Chris Rabb (Democratic) and Dennis Mahoney (The Independent Party).
- Pennsylvania has no U.S. Senate election in 2026.
