Notes on the official list

  • The Secretary of State's certified statewide list (dated August 25, 2026) blocks scripted downloads, so the file was first built from the Clark and Washoe county election offices' official lists; an independent check then read the state list in a browser and found the same 17 candidates, so it is cited here too.
  • Party labels are copied as the county lists and sample ballots print them: DEM, REP, IAP and NPP. Nevada law (NRS 293.267) uses NPP for a candidate with no political party; the Secretary of State's certified list spells the parties out as Democratic Party, Republican Party, Independent American Party and No Political Party.
  • The governor ballot also carries the option "None of these candidates", which Nevada offers in statewide races; it is not a candidate and is not listed.
  • Joseph Lombardo is marked as the incumbent governor: the ballot lists "Lombardo, Joseph" (REP) and the Nevada governor's official website identifies the current governor as Joe Lombardo. The county lists do not mark incumbents.
  • Nevada has no US Senate race on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
