The premise
Most of what divides us isn’t values. It’s understanding — and understanding can be built.
The goal is a more capable citizenry — people who understand how their government works and can reason clearly across disagreement. We back the tools, knowledge, and initiatives that build that understanding, and never tell people what to conclude.
Our standard
Nonpartisan by design — not by promise.
Across everything we build and back, neutrality is a system we test, not a virtue we claim. A cross-spectrum editorial board and quarterly audits keep us honest — and a bounty rewards anyone who catches us slipping.
