Notes on the official list
- Oregon's Secretary of State publishes the general-election candidate list inside the official State Voters' Pamphlet (one edition per county group), where it is described as the complete list of federal and state candidates for the November 3, 2026 general election as prepared by the Secretary of State. We did not find a separate standalone document titled as a certification, and the pamphlet list does not say it is certified, so certified is false. The pamphlets were published after the August 28 withdrawal deadline in the Secretary of State's 2026 elections calendar.
- We read the list in all 22 English pamphlet editions; the US Senate and governor entries are identical in every edition, and each House district's entries are identical in every edition that covers it. The three editions cited here (Multnomah, Clackamas and Lane counties) together cover all six districts.
- Party labels are the nominating parties as the list prints them, in the printed order; a candidate nominated by more than one party shows each party (for example "Democrat, Working Families").
- The pamphlet list does not mark incumbents. Tina Kotek is marked as the incumbent governor because the Oregon governor's official website identifies her as the current governor.
