Research draftList not marked certified

Research draft. We gathered this from official sources on October 27, 2026: election offices, state laws and court records, each linked to its source. Separate reviewers checked a random sample of 48 facts from the ballot-measure research against the cited sources and found no errors. The rest hasn't been reviewed fact by fact yet, so check the linked source before relying on anything here.

§1Where this list comes from

That there are none rests on these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.

None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.

§2Notes on the research

What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.

  • Connecticut does not publish a separate list of statewide ballot questions for November 3, 2026. The absence of statewide measures rests on the Secretary of the State's sample ballots for all 169 towns (page updated October 21, 2026), none of which carries a statewide question, and on the Secretary's 2026 Voter Guide, whose list of what is on the ballot names only offices.
  • Twenty-four towns' sample ballots carry questions, but every one we read is a local question (town or city charter revisions, town bond appropriations, or regional school district appropriations). Local questions are out of scope.
  • Neither the town ballots page nor the Voter Guide says the ballots are certified or final, so the list is not marked certified. The Voter Guide's file name contains the word final, but the document does not call itself final.
  • The Secretary of the State's Questions on the Ballot page lists only 2018 items and an archive, and the page address used for earlier years' constitutional amendment questions returns a not-found page for 2026.
  • We could not read General Assembly bill status pages for proposed constitutional amendment resolutions (cga.ct.gov redirected our requests to its home page), so we did not check the legislature's record directly; the finding relies on the sample ballots.
