Research draftList not marked certified

Research draft. We gathered this from official sources on October 27, 2026: election offices, state laws and court records, each linked to its source. Separate reviewers checked a random sample of 48 facts from the ballot-measure research against the cited sources and found no errors. The rest hasn't been reviewed fact by fact yet, so check the linked source before relying on anything here.

§2Where this list comes from

The list above comes from these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.

None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.

§3Notes on the research

What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.

  • No official Alaska source we found calls the list of general-election measures certified or final; the Division of Elections petition page marks 24ESEG and 25USCV as Will appear on General Election ballot, and the Official Election Pamphlet and sample ballots print exactly these two, so the list is not marked certified.
  • Ballot Measure No. 1 (23RCF2, the Campaign Contribution Limits Question) was on the August 18, 2026 primary ballot, not the general-election ballot, so it is excluded; the Division's petition page lists it as approved by voters.
  • Initiative petition 25ANMA (a regulated natural medicine program) was still circulating with a petition filing deadline of September 14, 2026, according to the Division's petition page, and it is not on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
  • We read only the Region II edition of the Official Election Pamphlet (Anchorage and Whittier) and the House District 1 sample ballot; the measures are statewide, so the other four regional editions should print the same two measures, but we did not open them.
  • We read the Department of Law letter describing the Alaska Supreme Court's August 27, 2026 order on the 24ESEG ballot language, not the order itself, and did not check for any other pending court case on either measure.
