Research draftList not marked certified

Research draft. We gathered this from official sources on October 27, 2026: election offices, state laws and court records, each linked to its source. Separate reviewers checked a random sample of 48 facts from the ballot-measure research against the cited sources and found no errors. The rest hasn't been reviewed fact by fact yet, so check the linked source before relying on anything here.

§1Where this list comes from

That there are none rests on these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.

None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.

§2Notes on the research

What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.

  • No state-level official document we could read says outright that there are no statewide questions on the November 3, 2026 ballot. The State Election Commission's personal sample ballot tool requires a voter lookup form, which we did not use. The finding of no measures rests on Charleston County's official guide to what is on its November 3 ballot (statewide and federal offices plus local questions only), Greenville County's page listing only county and municipal referendums for the general election, and the State Election Commission's news and voter pages for the 2026 general election, none of which mention a statewide question. A reviewer should confirm against a full county sample ballot.
  • For 2024 the State Election Commission posted a page announcing the constitutional amendment question on that year's general election ballot (scvotes.gov/2024-constitutional-amendment-question/); we found no such page for 2026, and the matching 2026 address (scvotes.gov/2026-constitutional-amendment-question/) returns page not found.
  • Not marked certified: none of the sources calls a list of ballot questions certified or final.
  • Several county election sites (Spartanburg, Berkeley, Aiken, Beaufort and York counties) refused our requests with access-denied pages, so we stopped using them. Our web search budget also ran out before we could find more county sample ballots.
