Research draftList not marked certified

Research draft. We gathered this from official sources on October 27, 2026: election offices, state laws and court records, each linked to its source. Separate reviewers checked a random sample of 48 facts from the ballot-measure research against the cited sources and found no errors. The rest hasn't been reviewed fact by fact yet, so check the linked source before relying on anything here.

§2Where this list comes from

The list above comes from these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.

None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.

§3Notes on the research

What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.

  • The Secretary of State's Measures on Ballot page calls these the approved measures for the 2026 general election but does not use the word certified or final, so the list is not marked certified.
  • A separate Constitutional Measure 1 (Senate Concurrent Resolution 4007, requiring constitutional initiatives to have a single subject) was voted on at the June 2026 primary and is marked Passed on the Secretary of State's measure archive; it is not on the November ballot.
  • Reviewer check: the constitution posted on the Legislative Assembly's website (PDFs dated July 2026) now includes single-subject language in article III, section 9 and article IV, section 16, but the text of House Concurrent Resolution 3003 (Constitutional Measure No. 1), written in 2025, reenacts both sections without that language. The official ballot language and analysis do not address this, and we did not find an official source that does.
  • The guide's headings and the official ballot language give no short title for either measure, so titles are left out.
