§2Where this list comes from
The list above comes from these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.
- Initiatives and Referenda1Arkansas Secretary of State
- Notice of Election, November 3, 2026 General Election2Pulaski County Board of Election Commissioners, Arkansas
None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.
§3Notes on the research
What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.
- the list is not marked certified: the Secretary of State's page lists these four issues under the heading 2026 Proposed Initiatives as Certified by the General Assembly, which describes the legislature's referral, not an election-office certification of the ballot.
- The same page says no citizen-proposed measures were certified by the Attorney General for the 2026 general election, and the Pulaski County notice of election shows the same four statewide issues, so we found no initiated measures on the statewide ballot.
- We did not find the Arkansas Constitution's text on an official state website, so the threshold for Issues 1 to 3 is cited to each joint resolution's own wording (as printed in the Secretary of State's notices), which says the amendment is adopted by a majority of the voters voting on it and refers to Ark. Const. art. 19, § 22.
- Titles: Issue No. 1's popular name is longer than our title limit, so we used the short title the amendment gives itself; Issue No. 2 uses its popular name; Issue No. 3 has no title here because its popular name is too long; Issue No. 4 uses its ballot title.
- The Pulaski County notice also lists a Jacksonville city initiative; it is local and not included.
