§2Where this list comes from
The list above comes from these official sources. Researched October 27, 2026.
- Arizona 2026 General Election Publicity Pamphlet, November 3, 2026 (Arizona Secretary of State), as posted by the Citizens Clean Elections Commission1Arizona Secretary of State (posted by Citizens Clean Elections Commission)
- Voter Education Guide: November 3, 2026 guides, including the SOS Publicity Pamphlet2Arizona Citizens Clean Elections Commission
None of them calls the list certified or final, so we don’t either.
§3Notes on the research
What the research couldn’t find or confirm, in its own plain words. Nothing is left out silently.
- The Arizona Secretary of State’s website (azsos.gov) answered scripted requests with a human-verification check, so its ballot-measure page and any certified list of measures could not be read; the list here comes from the Secretary of State’s 2026 General Election Publicity Pamphlet as posted by the Citizens Clean Elections Commission.
- The publicity pamphlet does not call its list of propositions certified or final, so the list is not marked certified.
- The pamphlet’s propositions go 141, 142, 144; there is no Proposition 143 in it. Why that number is unused could not be checked on the Secretary of State’s site (blocked).
- All eight propositions in the pamphlet were referred by the Legislature; the pamphlet contains no citizen initiative or citizen referendum for 2026.
- Arizona requires 60 percent for amendments or referred measures that approve a tax (Ariz. Const. art. XXI, § 1; art. IV, pt. 1, § 1(5)); none of these eight is described in the pamphlet as approving a tax, so the majority rule is recorded for each. A reviewer should confirm that no 2026 measure is treated as approving a tax.
- The pamphlet labels both Proposition 141 and Proposition 319 as Senate Concurrent Resolution 1004; the resolution numbers and sessions were not checked on the Legislature’s bill pages.
